Ridhima holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Jadavpur University. She started her career in the field of Company Secretary in a Practicing Company Secretary firm in Kolkata, India, where she served as a secretarial specialist in handling compliances of renowned multi-national companies governed by varied India laws. She then joined B. Samrish & Co. and was associated with the firm as an Associate, having responsibility for firm’s stakeholder relationships and secretarial compliances.
Her main areas of expertise include providing legal advice on inbound foreign investment to local and foreign clients, particularly those seeking assistance on market entry in India. Her other areas of competence include Company Law, FEMA, Secretarial Audit, incorporation of companies, NCLT matters, drafting of agreements and other legal compliance. She has also authored articles on topics related to Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
She has an experience of working with corporates and handling their secretarial compliances including convening of Board, General and Creditors meetings and providing corporate consultancy and advisory.
Besides being diligent in her work, Ridhima is creative in art work and enjoys cooking, listening to music and exploring new places. It just takes a good meal to cheer her up.
